About Me
My Background
Hi I’m Emily Layton a Product and UX Designer with 3 years of experience in ux design, ux research, web development and web design. I’ve worked on several end-to-end projects at startups, small businesses, and large global business. I currently work as a Product Designer at the Georgia Tech Financial Services Lab where I’m designing an financial management tool.
Growing up I was always curious about the way people behaved and interacted with one another and developed an appreciation for their differences. Pairing this interest with my creative abilities and problem solving skills, led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s in Human Computer interaction at Georgia Tech with the hopes of becoming a designer in the technology field. Goal achieved ;)
